Steelpan rhythm is infectious and these young people are impressive!

Panorama is a major component of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. And who says our young people don’t appreciate culture?

They brought the songs to life at the 2019 Secondary Schools Panorama Competition!

The students of Naparima College and Naparima Girls’ High School combined (NAPS Combined) reaped the benefits of their efforts as they copped the coveted winning title of Secondary School champions in the 2019 Junior Panorama Finals. They placed 2nd in 2018, after St. Francois Girls’ College.

NAPS Combined performed “No Weapon”, by the LFS Music group, earning 278 points.

El Dorado East Secondary School came in second playing Nailah Blackman’s “Iron Love”, scoring 277 points.

Bishop Anstey High School placed third with 273 points.

Winning the Primary Schools category was Guaico Presbyterian Primary School, with their rendition of “Iron Love”, for which they earned 273 points
